Virtual Communities / Online Collaborative Spaces

• BIBLIOSUS Cooperating Libraries and Information Units of Health Network - Brazil

  Communication space between managers, researchers, counselors, librarians, health professionals, students and citizens interested in information and documents related to public health. It is an initiative of the Coperating Libraries and Information Units of Health Network - Brazil (BiblioSUS Network) with the support of BIREME/PAHO/WHO (Center Latin-American and of the Caribbean of Information in Health Sciences). • Collaborative Space VHL Brasil

  This space aims to strengthen communication and record of actions taken by members of the VHL Network Brazil, acting as a space for interaction and information source in the context of the proposed convergence of virtual libraries thematic, institutional and related portals. The Collaborative Space is used to facilitate the exchange of news, discussion forums promote and facilitate the registration of views and collaborate with the organization of documents and images of interest to this community.

• ePORTUGUESe

  This collaborative space makes possible the participation, the discussion of objectives, future partnerships and the resources that permit to disseminate the initiative ePORTUGUÊSe. This initiative has the purpose of contribute to the expansion of democracy in the access to the scientific and technical information in health, with emphasis on the Portuguese language. • EVIPNet - Evidence Informed Policy Networks

  EVIPNet - Evidence-Informed Policy Networks is an innovative program of WHO in order to promote the use of health research in the preparation of policies and in decision-making processes. EVIPNet Collaborative Space has the objective of facilitate the communication, information sharing and knowledge management by the EVIPNet teams. Controlled access.

• Former-Staff Members of the United Nations

  This community has, as an of its objectives, to maintain and expand this space as a professional excellence and multidisciplinary place, where the various social segments can find support for consultations on directed issues, obtaining progressively to incorporation of the greatest possible number of members, collaborators and visitors. Public access.

   

• Global Health Library – GHL

  Online space for consultation, discussion and sharing of information and knowledge among the responsible for the various related subjects to the construction and maintenance of the Global Health Library (GHL) , as well as for the documentation and dissemination of these works in cooperation. Controlled access.

• Health Economics ECOS

  Space for exchange of information and knowledge among the groups of authorities, managers, researchers and professionals interested in the subject Economics of the Health, for the project 'Virtual Library on Health Economics', whose principal objective is to develop and to operate an issue on Economics  of Health in national area. The objective of the Virtual Community is to develop a network among its peers, as well to turn available up-to-date information and knowledge for decision-making related to the subject. • Health and Local Development

  This community has the purpose of promoting the exchange of information, ideas, and experiences among the professionals and interested parties in the subjects of sustainable development and environmental health. Controlled access.

• Inflammatory Intestinal Diseases (IID)

  This space aims to facilitate and make viable the access of the patients and Health professionals to information concerning of Inflammatory Intestinal Diseases. It has as objective the exchange of information and knowledge among the members of the network of associates of ABCD Brazilian Association of Ulcerative Colitis and Disease of Crohn and of the public interested in the subject. Public access.

   

• Nursery

  The construction of an organized space for interaction, integration, and participation of the members of the VHL Nursing Advisory Committee is the main purpose of this collabaorative space.   Subsequently it can be open to the other professionals and interested parties in this area. • Paper, Proposal and Poster Clinic

  This Collaborative Spaceis designed to assist individuals and organizations/groups in the Region of the Americas willing to submit contributions to organizing committees of technical meetings, congresses or conferences, but whose limited experience restrains them to do it. It was developed by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Family and Community Health (FCH) and Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) Areas, with collaboration of BIREME/PAHO/WHO, using a Virtual Health Library Methodology tool. • Psicology

  Online space for exchange of information and experiences among the Psicology Virtual Health Library managers and co-workers using fóruns, chats and spaces to publish images and texts. It intends to optimize the communication among managers, researchers, librarians, students and general users in order to facilitate the contruction of the Latin America Psicology Entities Union Virtual Health Library - VHL ULAPSI. • Public Health History in Latin America and Caribbean (HISPALC)

  Virtual environment to communication, exchange of information and knowledge related to the Public Health History in Latin America and Caribbean by the members of the History and Public Health Network in Latin America and Caribbean – HISPALC.. There is an initiative of researchers that were studied the social history of public health, medicine, sciences, health professions, popular medicine, and diseases in Latin America and Caribbean countries. • RIPSA - Interinstitutional Network of Public Health Information

  This is the shared work space of the professionals who integrate the collegiate agencies of RIPSA, joint action of the Ministry of the Health and of the Pan American Health Organization in Brazil.   This virtual environment favors internal communication for the formulation of consensual proposals in the area of the Network and visa the enhancement of the basic data, indicators, and analysis on health conditions and its trends in the country, as well as the availability of technical documentation produced in the Virtual Health Library – RIPSA. • ScienTI

  This is a space of interaction for the actors of the systems and national communities of science, technology and innovation of the member countries exchange and generate information and knowledge. It dealt with an initiative of the members of the network ScienTI, public network of sources of information and knowledge that has as a purpose expanding the works through collaborative networks. • Scientific Publishers CCS

  Space in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) devoted especially for the exchange of information and experiences among the editors of scientific journals of LILACS and SciELO. In this comunity the scientific knowledge is discussed, shared, enriched and constructed colectivelly. The objective is to present and discuss subjects related to scientific communication that can contribute to the enhancement of the scientific journals of the countries of Latin America, Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. • Telemedicine Brazil

  The Collaborative Space of Telemedicine National Program of Brazil has the objective of facilitating communication and interaction among the Nuclei and the Working Groups of the Program. Being also an opportunity for discussion, in addition makes possible the management of the documents generated in the area of the Program, like the meetings reports, presentations, Nuclei and working groups reports, etc Nuclei of Telemedicine: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Ceará, Amazonas, Goiás, Minas Gerais e Pernambuco. • VHL Cooperators

  This community is a communication and information channel among the institutions and professionals that cooperate with the development of VHL, considering its contents, characteristics, functionalities and resources. It has the objective of promoting the discussion and compartment of information, knowledge and relevant practices for the strengthening of the model of VHL in the Brazilian Information Network in Health Sciences. • VHL Network History and Cultural Heritage of the Health (HPCS Network)

  Virtual environment that acts as a channel for communication, exchange of information and knowledge in the area of the History and Cultural Heritage of the Health - HPCS. Is one of the instruments for the collective construction of VHL and of the HPCS Network, that has the objective of the memory rescue and the awareness of the society concerning to the importance of the historical architectural and documentary heritage. • Colombia/ Representative Office of PAHO

  The Virtual Community of the Pan American Health Organization Representative Office (PAHO) in Colombia and its 7 departmental units aims to strengthen communication inter-units and to facilitate the exchange, the recording of the information and of the scientific knowlegde in Health, using a referential model of Technical Cooperation Based on Knowledge Management.
