Regional Coordination Meeting of the VII Meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Information System PAHO,
Washington, D.C. The I Regional Coordination Meeting of the Virtual Health Library and the VII Meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Information System will be held in Washington, D.C., USA, from November 30th to December 3rd, 1999, at Pan American Health Organization Headquarter. This will be the first meeting to evaluate the development of activities towards the Virtual Health Library in countries of the Region, according to the proposal recognized and accepted by participants of the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Information System during the last meeting at the IV CRICS (Pan American Congress on Health Sciences Information), in Costa Rica, on March 1998. Conferences
of related to the development of the Virtual Health Library and
reports on the developments of the VHL in countries of the Region
will be presented. There will be English and Spanish presentations
with simultaneous translations to both languages. Representatives of the Cooperating Centers of the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Information System, PWR Documentation Centers, PAHO Specialized Centers and Programs and other institutions from countries of the Region working or interested on development of VHL should participate.
